About Me

I have been a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and Certified Vocational Evaluation Specialist since the mid 1980s.  In this time, I acted as a consultant and contractor for the Texas Workforce Commission, Texas Department of Rehabilitation Services, U.S. Department of Labor, and Social Security Administration.  I have done vocational evaluations on approximately 25,000 individuals with disabilities.

I have testified in courts as an expert in ten different states. I was the vocational consultant, on the case of Jeffrey Young v. ConAgra Foods, Inc.: the 5th Largest Premises Liability Verdict of 2012 in State of Texas.

In addition, I have been an educator and faculty member at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, in rehabilitation counseling department, from 1984 to 2003.  And, from 2003 to present have worked at El Centro College, currently as full-time faculty in the Department of Psychology.
